A variety of public holiday celebrations will be held at Church Row Park March 30 through April 1.
Good Friday sign waving and prayers for the community of Waimea will begin at 3 p.m. March 30. That night, Seder Dinner at 6 p.m. at Imiola Church will include reading, telling stories, drinking and eating special foods, and singing.
From 3-6 p.m. March 31, Kanikapila and Street Evangelist Miguel Angel Hernandez will perform free music for the community.
The Sunday Sunrise Service will begin at 6 a.m. at Imiola Congregational Church with light breakfast to follow. The main Easter service from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. under the tent will include free lunch, music, games, an egg hunt and a big water slide following the service.
